Clinical CEU Training Session – Wound Care Fundamentals: Understanding Wound Care & Supporting Best Practice

Join us for a one-hour wound introductory course that covers wound basics, empowering case managers to recognize wound needs sooner, coordinate care more confidently, and help prevent avoidable complications. 

Learning objectives:

  • Recognize common wound types and the basic factors that contribute to wound healing or worsening.
  • Identify key signs that a wound is worsening, or stalled in healing, and know when to alert a clinician.
  • Support safe wound care by applying simple best practices, including maintaining a clean environment, helping with prevention measures, and reinforcing patient education.

To earn a clinical CEU for this session, attendees must be a licensed clinical professional, complete the full session, post-training evaluation, & provide their license number.
